AgResourced came about through a vision to deliver sustainable One Health solutions across rural New Zealand. Today it is an investment and consultancy business offering integrated decision support, linking people, performance and planning; and resource, support and solutions.
AgResourced utilises the latest science and technology to connect communities, farmers, agri-businesses, governance groups and more, to achieve positive, locally designed outcomes that are focused on improving the health and wellbeing of our planet.
Amanda Bell (Mandy) is a successful entrepreneur and advisor with a strong veterinary, farming, information systems and agribusiness background. An experienced director and business owner in the primary sector, veterinary and tourism industries, she has a passion for future thinking and solutions.
With 30 years’ experience, Mandy is known for increasing the profitability and sustainability of farming, corporate business and industry, through best practices and innovative ideas.
She has directed AgResourced Limited (ARL) since 2007.
She has co-founded 13 company and not-for-profit start-ups to date. She is currently involved in a range of enterprises – corporate and community including serving as the Chair for WAI Wanaka, the Passion to Profit Advisory Group. She is a member of the One New Zealand Charitable Trust, and a recent member of the Freshwater Leaders Group advisory to the Ministry for the Environment.
Alongside husband Jerry she has operated a successful farming and tourism company, since 1992. Initially a deer stud and finishing operation it has grown to include agri-tourism, accommodation, events, activities and more. Today Criffel Station is a successful and well known agri-business.
Mandy has a deep empathy and passion for water, environment, animals and people. She aims to utilise her leadership qualities to strategically map, develop and implement leading edge solutions to any business, client, or community group she is involved with.
Mandy is an instigator, driver and collaborator of ideas. She speaks regularly sharing her passion for water, the environment and the land.
